SOUTHEAST BRANCH - PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT SCHOLARSHIPS |

Scholarship
will be for an active member to attend a training course, seminar, or activity
that is directly related to the person’s current job or areas of
responsibilities. Applicant
must be an active APWA member, in accordance with APWA Membership categories and
requirements. Maximum amount
of an individual scholarship award is $500.00 All
applicants must complete and submit the attached application form. All
recipients are to submit proof of attendance and completion of training to the
APWA Texas SE Branch. The Branch
reserves the right to request a refund from the recipient if he or she fails to
attend or successfully complete same. The
Scholarship Committee will review all applications on a case-by-case
basis. The committee will make
recommendations to the APWA – Texas SE Branch Board who, in turn, will approve
and award the scholarships. Applications
can be submitted any time to the APWA Texas SE Branch’s address - Attention:
Chairperson of Scholarship Committee.
There will be no set number of scholarships awarded each year; the number
will depend on availability of funds.
